The Missing Piece
There is a missing piece of information in the Scriptural, medical and social gender variation discussion.
Many environmental chemicals and toxins are estrogen/hormone mimics and endocrine, enzyme and chromosome disruptors. Literally these substances in relevant doses at critical split second often in utero moments can change boys into girls and girls into boys, or cause them in both male and female, or feminize/masculinize them on a spectrum of various alterations.
Twin related events in utero and genetic anomalies can cause similar variations.
Natural toxins and estrogenic plants, mercury, etc. have probably been responsible for rare cases of gender variance throughout history. The soup of toxic chemicals today have increased these incidences drastically.
Public Social responses to these poorly understood effects have often been harsh. Churches and leaders who typically stand ready to assist those in need as the Good Samaritan and comforter have misinterpreted and rejected many gender variant applicants who sought their help. Extreme gender ideologies have replaced help the church could have provided. Neither of these common approaches necessarily reflect Christ. Better information can improve understanding and support these dear gender variant people and their families and churches.
This web page focuses on that missing piece of endocrine and genetic gender disruption. It examines as well the complicated personal/social dynamics of a rainbow of toxin induced variations in the light of Scripture. God has graciously and lovingly remembered and provided guidance and instruction for the care of these precious friends among us.
Introduction to the Trans-Christ-ian Bridge
The Trans-Christ-ian Bridge website is a private, personal ministry of Mrs. Olive Kaiser, a resident of Chicago suburbs. Its purpose is to bring attention to a missing piece in the gender variation discussion with hope that it may bring clarity to some puzzling gender related matters. It is not an attempt to diagnose but to offer perspective and more information to affected individuals and their families, friends and churches.
